Frank joined Forbes Singer Shouldice as an associate lawyer shortly after he was called to the Bar in November 2004. Originally from Montreal, Frank moved to Ottawa to attend law school at the University of Ottawa where he received his LL.B in 2003.
Since joining Forbes Singer Shouldice, Frank has developed a litigation practice representing individuals from all walks of life in personal injury law, family law, and civil litigation. He has developed an emphasis on personal injury litigation representing individuals who has suffered serious personal injuries including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, soft tissue injuries and serious orthopaedic injuries. He has also significant experience in slip and fall, medical malpractice, long-term disability insurance and Canada Pension Plan claims.
Frank has represented clients in various stages of the litigation process including mediation, discovery, motions and trials. Frank has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal in cases that have been reported in the Ontario Reports. Along the way, Frank has developed a keen understanding and knowledge of all aspects of civil litigation from managing complex files, negotiating settlements and aggressively advocating for his client’s rights in the court system.
Frank is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, Carleton County Law Association, Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Advocates Society.
Frank is also a passionate volunteer for many community organizations including Reach Canada where he is the Chair of their Education Committee and a member of their Board of Directors. He is also the President of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (National Capital Region).
